New movie! Ryan Reynolds is “The Highlander”

Studio Summit have confirmed the rumours that have been circulating for weeks now, that Ryan Reynolds is set to revive Christopher Lambert’s Highlander role in the upcoming remake of the sci-fi movie.

The ‘Green Lantern’ and ‘Safe House’ actor will bring Connor MacLeod back to the big screen, which has apparently been on the cards since 2008.

‘28 Weeks Later’ director Juan Carlos Fresnadillo will give direction on the remake of the movie and Matt Holloway, who penned the ‘Iron Man’ script has also written this script.
